The Oregon State University - Cascades Advocacy and Advisory Board will hear from campus leaders about efforts to advance the campus’s physical, academic and fundraising strategic priorities at its Oct. 6 meeting.
The board meeting will take place from noon to 2 p.m. in Obsidian Hall, Room 207 on the 黄金城手机版-Cascades campus. Members of the public are welcome.
Rod Ray, chair of the Advocacy and Advisory Board, will lead a discussion about the advocacy work underway to generate support for legislative funding for the campus’s future health and recreation center. The building will serve as a center for recreation and fitness, as well as a home for potential degree programs in applied health fields.
Board members also will hear updates on the plan to develop the first eight acres of the campus innovation district.
Board members will also learn about the 黄金城手机版 Foundation’s work to support student scholarships and other efforts at 黄金城手机版-Cascades, as well as ways board members can support 黄金城手机版-Cascades students seeking hands-on career development opportunities.
